Rockcastle Shooting Center is located at the Park Mammoth Resort. Rooms are available for $79 plus tax per night.
Additionally, just a short drive off site is the Holiday Inn University Plaza & Sloan Convention Center where our banquet will be held. Room rates are $99 plus tax per night. Shooters must reserve a room by October 7th at the latest to secure these rates.

Which airport should I plan to fly into for the event? 2015-03-11T14:45:06+00:00

Park City is located between Louisville International Airport and Nashville International Airport fairly equally. Both are good choices to fly into.

How long should I plan to be in the area to shoot the match? 2017-02-28T12:08:24+00:00

Plan to arrive on Wednesday, Oct 21.

You will need to check in at the either the Rockcastle Shooting Center Jesse James room from 12:00-4:00pm or from 5:00-6:30pm at the Sloan Convention Center.  Following check in, there is a mandatory shooters meeting at 7:00pm.

Plan to depart on Sunday, Oct 25. The event ends Saturday with the Banquet from 8:00-11:00pm.

How will each shooter identify where the Point of Aim is for the issued weapon/optic? 2015-02-24T09:04:17+00:00

Sighter shots will be allowed, per occasion, where necessary.

How much time should a shooter expect to commit per day of shooting? 2015-02-24T09:05:17+00:00

Four stages will be scheduled per shooter, per day, with each stage lasting  70 minutes each. Shooters should plan to spend the entire day on the range.

Side matches will not be scheduled by the Match Director, but will be available to participate in as the shooter’s schedule and desire permits.

Will I be able to park near each Segment/Stage? 2015-02-24T09:06:23+00:00

Yes, sufficient parking will be available for the amount of shooters and staff per segment.

Will shuttle service be provided between stages of fire? 2015-02-24T09:02:31+00:00

No. Sufficient parking will be available at the segment area.

How much driving will I be required to do each day to attend my scheduled events? 2015-02-24T09:02:00+00:00

Once you park for the first scheduled event, all scheduled events will be within walking distance.  Only side matches, you may desire to attend, might require additional driving.

As a shooter, what do I need to bring to the event? 2015-02-24T00:14:45+00:00

Trijicon will be providing all the guns and ammo needed for every stage. All we ask that you bring is ear pro and eye pro.

Is lunch provided? 2015-02-24T00:13:36+00:00

If you are a member of the range staff, lunch will be provided and delivered to your stage of fire.  Shooters can purchase their lunch at the hotel restaurant.

Do I have to attend the shooter meeting? 2015-02-27T12:02:01+00:00

YES. It is mandatory to attend so all shooters get the range rules and procedures; the Match Director will be present to answer any questions.  All shooters must complete check in prior to the shooter meeting. Allow at least 30 minutes to get through the check in line.

How far is Rockcastle from Bowling Green? 2015-02-24T13:50:49+00:00

Rockcastle is 25 minutes north of Bowling Green right off Interstate 65.
